2009 SHARKS GAME RECAPS

Game #1

The "SHARKS" got off to a terrific start of the baseball season in their first game against the "WILDDOGS" !
Everybody had a hit and a chance to run the bases. Jack Gutman made a great catch and tag at 3rd base for a double play. Thomas Flavin made a phenomenal grab at a foul tip for an out as catcher. Mason Penn made an excellent throw to first for an out as pitcher. Mathew Sackstein, Jack Gutman, Thomas Flavin and Douglas Eberling all had hits into the outfield for extra RBI's in the game.
Jack Dreyfus and Christian DiFede both drove in runs as well.

Game #2

The "SHARKS" had another great outing against the "RED FIREBALLS". Everybody got a hit and gave some great thrills running the bases. Mason Penn had an excellent slide at home for a run scored. Both Jake Tavaroff and Jack Gutman hit bombs to the outfield for extra bases. Douglas Eberling hit a great line drive that went way past the fielders. All in all both teams had some were really competitve and made some terrific plays. The coach pitching stunk (ha ha!)

Game #3

The game against the TITANS the SHARKS was another great outing. Michael Cicia was on fire getting multiple outs throughout the game. Thomas Flavin, Mathew Sackstein, Jack Gutman, Mason Penn and Jack Dreyfus all made great plays resulting in multiple outs. Douglas Eberling and Jake Taveroff both hit bombs into the outfield for doubles. Luke Wahlers, Mathew Cerbone and Christian Difede had hits that contributed to RBI's in the game.

Game #4

It was an awesome night for a nice long baseball game between the SHARKS and the WILDDOGS. Jake Taveroff was awarded the game ball for having a terrific glove at 3rd base. Great defense was the theme of the night with Jack Gutman making a really terrific double play at second. Michael Cicia, Thomas Flavin, Mason Penn and Mathew Sackstein all made excellent play for outs throughout the game. Christian Difede and Jack Dreyfus hit some hard grounders for RBI's.Everyone came home with dirt on their uniforms making their mom's proud.
