Game #1 Sunday 4/19/2009
YANKEES-6 DODGERS-0

Oskowsky Shuts out Dodgers

Yankee's starter Andrew Oskowsky fired a complete game, three hit shutout in the season opener, beating the Dodgers 6-0 at Wrights Field. Andrew struck out 9, retiring the final ten batters in a row, to pick up his first win of the season. The Yankees broke out on top in the first when Morgan McCarthy singled and later scored on a wild pitch. Oskowsky pitched out of a 1st and 2nd, no out jam in the bottom of the first courtesy of some outstanding infield defense. 1st Baseman Matt Scocozza picked up the first out by getting the lead runner at 2nd on a grounder, and then Kevin Otton, McCarthy and Scocozza combined on a 4-6-3 double play to end the inning. A five run rally in the 3rd put the Yanks up 5-0. After Matt Scocozza's RBI grounder made it 2-0, Kevin Otton stroked a two run double to left center, scoring Dan Villela and Scocozza. Otton later came home on an error to make it 6-0. The inning was capped with an RBI single by Joe Billi, scoring Ben Herschlag who had also singled. Justin Iovino chipped in with a single in the 6th inning. The errorless Yankee defense was lead by 2nd baseman Otton (2 putouts, 4 assists), Shortstop McCarthy (3 putouts, 1 assist), 1st baseman Scocozza (4 putouts, 1 assist) and catcher Villela (no stolen bases allowed). The defense, combined with Oskowsky's brilliant 81 pitch complete game, were the keys to the Yankee victory.

Game #2 Friday 4/24/2009
YANKEES-5 METS-2

Scocozza/Otton shut down Mets

Starter Matt Scocozza and Closer Kevin Otton combined on a 3 hitter to defeat the Mets 5-2 at Wrights Field. The Yankees rallied back from a two run deficit (on a 2 run homer by the Mets Chris Vandewater) for the victory. Scocozza threw the first four innings, allowing two runs (0 earned) on two hits while striking out four for his first win of the season. The Yankees scored one in the third when Morgan McCarthy (two hits) doubled to score Tyler Lorberbaum. The Yanks went ahead to stay in the 4th, scoring four runs on three hits. Luke Evans tied the game with a bases loaded RBI single scoring Scocozza. Lorberbaumfollowed with another RBI single scoring James Fulton to put the Yankees ahead to stay. Later in the inning Andrew Oskowksy's RBI singled scored Joe Billi, and Dan Villela ended the scoring with a bases loaded walk to force in the fifth run. The Yankees played another solid defensive game, with excellent infield defense from Ben Herschlag at 3rd, McCarthy at shortstop, Otton at 2nd and Oskowkyat 1st. The fielding gem of the night came from Luke Evans, who made a sliding catch in right field to end the 3rd inning. With the score at 5-2 entering the 5th inning, the Yankees called in closer " Mariano" Otton from the bullpen. Otton picked up his first save of the season, retiring six of the seven batters he faced with two Ks.

Game #3 Sunday 4/26/2009
YANKEES-10 MARINERS-0

Back to Back Shutouts for Oskowsy

Yankee hurler Andrew Oskowsky pitched his second consecutive shutout, defeating the Mariners 10-0. Oskowsky threw a complete game two hitter, striking out eight while only walking one to improve his record to 2-0 on the season. The Yankee offense was a total team effort, supporting Andrew with 10 runs. The scoring began in the bottom of the first, when Dan Villela's RBI double and Matt Scocozza's RBI grounder made the score 2-0. The Yankees tacked on two more runs in the 3rd when Scocozza stroked a two out, two run double to left center, scoring Tyler Lorberbaum and Morgan McCarthy. A six run, six hit Yankee rally in the bottom of the fifth put the game out of reach. Luke Evans leadoff single, followed by a McCarthy single and an Oskowsky RBI double made the score 5-0. Villela's second hit of the game drove in McCarthy (3 runs scored), and then Joe Billi came through with an RBI double to left center to put the Yanks up 7-0. James Fulton followed with an RBI single, and Justin Iovino and Ben Herschlag both picked up RBIs to bring the score to a final of 10-0. The Yankees played an errorless game, lead by the infield defense of 2nd baseman Kevin Otton and McCarthy (SS), Herschlag (3B) and Scocozza (1B).

Game #4 Tuesday 4/28/2009
YANKEES-12 DODGERs-6

Yanks 7 run 3rd leads to 12-6 win over Dodgers

The Yankees extended their winning streak to four with a come from behind 12-6 win over the Dodgers at Wrights Field. A seven run outburst in the bottom of the 3rd was the key to the Yankee victory. Yankees starter Matt Scocozza threw a scoreless 1st inning, thanks to a beautiful 4-6-3 double play turned by 2B Kevin Otton, SS Morgan McCarthy and 1B Andrew Oskowsky. The Yanks went up 2-0 after one inning on an RBI infield single by James Fulton and an RBI "take one for the team" bases loaded hit by pitch from Dan Toback. In the pivotal 3rd inning, the Yankees turned a 4-2 deficit into a 9-4 lead. Oskowsky reached on an HBP, Scocozza singled to left and Fulton's second hit of the game drove in Oskowsky to cut the lead to one. Toback walked and Ben Herschlag reached on a fielder's choice to load the bases for Luke Evans, whose "seeing eye" RBI single down the first base line tied the score. Tyler Lorberbaum drew an RBI walk to put the Yanks up 5-4, with Otton and Oskowsky each following with two run singles to end the scoring in the third. Scocozza departed after three with a five run lead, handing the ball over to Otton, who threw the final three innings for his second save of the year. The Yankees tacked on three more runs in the 5th inning. Speedy Joe Billi started the inning with a sharp grounder to short but was retired on a very close play at first. Justin Iovino walked, Herschlag reached on an HBP and Dan Villela ripped an RBI double that hit the chalk down the left field line to score Iovino. Otton (3 hits, 4 RBI) completed the scoring with a two run single to score Herschlag and Villela. McCarthy followed with a ground rule double, just missing a HR, but was stranded on base as the inning ended. Defensive standouts were Ben Herschlag, who caught six solid innings behind the plate, and SS Morgan McCarthy, who made an over the shoulder grab on a fly ball to shallow center to end the 3rd inning.

Game #5 Tuesday 5/9/2009

The Yankees added a run in the 2nd, with Lorberbaum reaching on an error, followed by a Morgan McCarthy single and a Villela RBI single. Game #6 Monday 5/11/2009
YANKEES-7 DODGERS-7

Yankees and Dodgers battle to a draw

In a wild game at Oceanside Park the Yankees pushed their unbeaten string to six but settled for a 7-7 tie with the Dodgers. The Dodgers scored two quick runs in the first, but Yankees starting pitcher Matt Scocozza settled down to strikeout four and allow no other runs in his two innings of work. The Yankees rallied in the 2nd, loading the bases when Scocozza legged out an infield hit, Kevin Otton reached on an error and James Fulton singled, but left the bases full when Tyler Lorberbaum's line shot to center field was run down by Dodgers CF Frank Agnello. The Yankees took the lead in the 3rd. Scocozza's RBI single scored Andrew Oskowsky, and Dan Villela scored on a wild pitch to tie the game at two. After an Otton walk, two more runs scored when Fulton and Justin Iovino both reached on errors that scored Scocozza and Otton. After the Dodgers struck back in the bottom of the 3rd to take a 5-4 lead, the Yanks put up three runs in the 4th. Morgan McCarthy doubled to start the inning, and scored on an error. Matt Scocozza (3 for 3, 2 RBI) drove a sacrifice fly to center field to score Oskowsky to put the Yankees up 6-5. An Otton single and a James Fulton RBI double gave the Yankees a two run lead. Kevin Otton was called on in the bottom of the 5th to relieve Andrew Oskowsky and hold a 7-6 Yankee lead. Otton pitched a 1-2-3 5th with two strikeouts. Clinging to a one run lead in the 6th, Otton faced the dangerous Chris Woods with one out and the tying run on 2nd. Woods single to right scored Mike Hindin with the tying run, just ahead of James Fulton's relay throw to Villela at the plate. However, Villela took the throw and fired to 3rd baseman Scocozza, who tagged out the speedy Woods who was trying to advance to 3rd. Otton then struck out the final batter to preserve the 7-7 tie.

Game #7 Friday 5/15/2009
METS-14 YANKEES-2

Yanks unbeaten streak snapped by Mets

There were not many highlights for the Yankees, who suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of the Mets 14-2. On the bright side for the Yanks, Morgan McCarthy and James Fulton contributed hits, Dan Villela and Matt Scocozza each scored a run, and Fulton and Scocozza picked up the two Yankee RBIs. McCarthy also put in his first appearance on the mound this season, pitching an effective inning of relief. Defensive highlights were a double play on a line drive caught by Villela and completed by Andrew Oskowsky, and a nice catch by Joe Billi on a fly ball to right field. Tyler Lorberbaum, playing his first game behind the plate, also threw out a runner at 2nd on a stolen base attempt.

Game #8 Sunday 5/17/2009
MARINERS-8 YANKEES-5

Mariners late rally sinks Yankees

The Mariners mounted a furious comeback in the 6th, erasing a four run deficit to beat the Yankees 8-5. The Yankees had this game in hand for 5 innings, taking a 5-1 lead into the 6th. Starting pitcher Andrew Oskowsky (0 hits, 4 Ks) and reliever Matt Scocozza (1 hit, 3 Ks) both pitched two scoreless innings. The Yanks scored three in the 2nd with two out. Joe Billi reached on an infield single, and Luke Evans stroked an RBI single to left to score James Fulton. Morgan McCarthy (3 for 4, double, 2 RBI) followed with a two run single to make it 3-0 Yankees. The Yankees added two runs in the 3rd. Dan Villela had an infield single, Kevin Otton walked and both runners moved up on a wild pitch. James Fulton then hit a sacrifice fly to short right to score Villela. Ben Herschlag later reached on an error that scored Otton to put the Yankees up 5-0. Two long balls by the Mariners (including a grand slam) late in the game had the Yankees down by three entering the bottom of the 6th. With two outs the Yankees still showed some life when Oskowsky walked and Villela doubled down the right field line. However, the game ended in heartbreaking fashion when Scocozza's hard smash over the 3rd base bag was snagged by the Mariners third baseman, robbing a potential two run hit and sending the Yanks to defeat.

Game #9 Sunday 5/19/2009
YANKEES-4 METS-1

Oskowsky's Arm, Villela's Bat Lead Yanks to Win

The Yankees got back on the winning track with a crisp 4-1 over the Mets at Wrights Field. Yankee ace Andrew Oskowsky threw 85 pitches over 4 2/3 shutout innings, striking out nine batters for his third win of the season. Dan Villela lead the offense with two hits, becoming the first Yankee to "touch 'em all" this season with his solo homerun in the 3rd. The Yanks got off to a fast start, getting all the runs they would need in the top of the 1st. Walks to Kevin Otton and Oskowsky, and a Villela single loaded the bases with no outs, but Otton was forced out at home on Morgan McCarthy's grounder. That brought Matt Scocozza to the plate with the bases still loaded, and Scocozza drilled a 2 RBI double to left center to score Oskowsky and Villela. James Fulton followed with an RBI ground out that scored a sliding McCarthy to put the Yankees up 3-0. With the game still at 3-0 in the bottom of the 2nd, Oskowsky was helped out of a jam courtesy of some spectacular glovework by 3rd Baseman Tyler Lorberbaum. With Mets on 1st and 2nd and no outs, Lorberbaum snagged a one hop shot to 3rd, turning it into a smooth 5-5-3 double play, then followed that up by fielding another hard grounder to end the inning. The Yankees extended their lead in the 3rd. With one out, Villela hit a 2-0 pitch over the left field fence for his first home run of the season to make it 4-0. The Yanks threatened again in the 4th on a Ben Herschlag single and walks to Luke Evans and Otton, but left the bases loaded. Oskowsky finished strong on the mound, striking out seven of the last eight hitters he faced before he got to the 85 pitch limit. Otton was called in to close out the game, entering with a runner on and two out in the 5th. With the dangerous Chris Vandewater on deck, Otton got the final out on 4-6 force out fielded by Herschlag. In the bottom of the 6th, Otton allowed an unearned run but struck out the side, earning the save on his 12th birthday.

Game #10 Friday 5/22/2009
YANKEES-9 DODGERS-0

Scocozza shuts out Dodgers, Villela goes deep again

Yankees starter Matt Scocozza took a no-hitter into the 5th inning and ultimately pitched 5 2/3 shutout innings, blanking the Dodgers 9-0 at Wrights Field. Scocozza was lifted with two outs in the 6th after throwing 85 pitches, striking out nine and only allowing three hits. Dan Villela had the big hit of the night, homering for the second straight game. The Yanks picked up two runs in the 1st when Kevin Otton scored on a wild pitch and Scocozza picked up an RBI on a ground out, scoring Villela. The Yankee outfield kept the Dodgers off the scoreboard early, with CF Tyler Lorberbaum and LF James Fulton both catching flyballs. The big offensive inning was the 3rd, with the Yankees scoring seven runs on five hits. Morgan McCarthy (2 for 2, BB) lead off with a single and reached on an error to bring Villela to the plate. The Yankee catcher busted the game open with a long three run homer over the left field fence to put the Yanks up 5-0. The scoring continued as the Yankees reloaded the bases on a Scocozza HBP, Andrew Oskowsky's ground rule double to right center field and a walk to James Fulton. RF Justin Iovino, who went 3 for 3 on the night, drove in two with a single up the middle to make the score 7-0. After Ben Herschlag reached on an error, McCarthy capped the scoring with a two run single bringing home Fulton and Iovino. McCarthy was then whisked away to make a cameo appearance for his fans in the School 2 6th Grade Follies. The defensive play of the game occurred in the top of the 5th. Scocozza faced his toughest test of the night, with Dodgers loading the bases with one out. But the tide quickly turned when Scocozza fielded a comebacker, threw to Villela at home for an out, who then threw to Oskowsky at 1B to complete a slick 1-2-3 double play to end the inning. The Yankees have now turned five DPs this season. In the 6th, Joe Billi helped keep the Dodgers scoreless with a nice relay throw on a double to right center. With two outs, Scocozza reached the 85 pitch mark on his 9th K of the game. Kevin Otton was called in to close out the game, and did it with just one pitch, fielding a ball back to the mound and throwing to Oskowsky to end the game. Congratulations to the Yankees five All-Star game representatives: Morgan McCarthy, Andrew Oskowsky, Kevin Otton, Matt Scocozza and Dan Villela.

YANKEES-17 MARINERS-6

McCarthy's Long Ball Leads Yanks to Victory

The Yankees had their biggest offensive output of the season, defeating the Mariners 17-6 on a wet night at Wrights. Yankee SS Morgan McCarthy and 1B Matt Scocozza lead the attack, combining for 7 hits, 7 runs and 8 RBI. McCarthy, who hit his first home run of the season, was 3 for 4, with three runs scored and five RBI. Scocozza went 4 for 4, with a single, two doubles and a triple, four runs scored and three RBI. The Yankees took an early lead in this one. With two outs and no runners on in the top of the 1st, Dan Villela singled up the middle and McCarthy followed with a long drive over the left field fence for a 2-0 lead. The Yanks tacked on one more run when Scocozza singled, advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on Andrew Oskowsky's RBI double. The hard hitting Mariners came right back in the bottom of the 1st, scoring two quick runs with only one out. However, two key defensive plays help starting pitcher Oskowsky out of the jam. RF Joe Billi made a nice catch on a long fly ball to right center, and Dan Villela made a sliding tag at home, blocking the plate completely on a Mariner attempting to score on a wild pitch. The Yankees extended their lead to 4-2 in the top of the 2nd, when Ben Herschlag singled and eventually scored on a Villela RBI grounder. The Mariners struck back in the bottom of the 2nd, scoring two runs. The game remained tied due to the hustle of Yankee catcher Villela, who sprinted out to shortstop to tag out a Mariner in a rundown. The big inning for the Yankees was the 3rd, when they put together seven hits to score ten runs and put the game out of reach. Scocozza started the inning with a double, followed by an Oskowsky walk and a Toback single to load the bases with one out. Ben Herschlag then delivered a two run double down the right field line to give the Yanks a 6-4 lead. Justin Iovino walked to reload the bases, and Herschlag came home on a Villela grounder. Two more runs scored on a McCarthy single, and Matt Scocozza picked up his second extra base hit of the inning, a triple to right center that scored Villela and McCarthy for an 11-4 Yankee lead. Oskowsky's second double of the game pushed the lead to 12-4, and the inning was capped when Dan Toback (2 for 2, BB, 2 RBI) hit a scorching double to left to score two runs. The final three runs scored in the 4th. Joe Billi walked, stole 2nd and 3rd and scored on a McCarthy single, Scocozza drove in a run with an RBI double and James Fulton drove in a run on a hard grounder to short. Andrew Oskowsky pitched through three tough innings on a cold and rainy night, allowing only two hits and striking out six to pick up the win. Kevin Otton again closed out the game with a quick inning, getting a strike out and starting a 4-6-3 game ending double play, the Yankees 6th DP of the year.

Game #12 Thursday 5/28/2009
YANKEES-13 DODGERS-3

Offense and Defense of Billi and Lorberbaum lead Yanks past Dodgers
On a soggy night at School 8, the Yankees extended their winning streak to four with a 13-3 win over the Dodgers. Both teams deserve tremendous credit for coming out and playing in less than ideal conditions, and special thanks to the large number of parents and friends who stayed through the bad weather to cheer the teams on. The Yankee offense was lead by Tyler Lorberbaum and Andrew Oskowsky with 3 RBI each, and another 2 RBI from Joe Billi. Yankees starting pitcher Matt Scocozza went the distance in the four inning game, allowing only three hits and one earned run while striking out seven to pick up the victory. The Yankees again took an early lead in the top of the 1st as Dan Villela doubled and scored when Morgan McCarthy reached on an error. The Dodgers came back to take a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 1st, but were prevented from scoring anymore runs when Billi flagged down a fly ball to rightfield. The Yanks went back in front in the 2nd on a two run double from Lorberbaum that scored James Fulton and Oskowsky. In the top of the 3rd, six more Yankees crossed the plate. Villela, McCarthy and Scocozza drew consecutive walks to load the bases for Oskowsky, who delivered a two run single for a 5-2 Yankee lead. Fulton followed with his second hit, an RBI single to make it 6-2 Yankees. Dan Toback walked to reload the bases, and Lorberbaum worked out a walk to force in a run. Leadoff batter Justin Iovino followed with a ground ball that turned into two Yankee runs on a wild throw to first base. Kevin Otton later singled, but was left stranded at the end of the inning with the Yanks ahead 9-2. Scocozza pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the 3rd, aided by outfield putouts from CF Lorberbaum and LF Fulton. In the top of the 4th, the Yankees struck for four more runs, highlighted by an Oskowsky RBI single and a two run single from Joe Billi. After Billi came home on an error, Ben Herschlag followed with a line drive to centerfield that was caught to end the inning. With the rain starting to come down harder, Scocozza took the hill in the 4th looking to close out the game. After allowing a run, he stranded runners on 2nd and 3rd, striking out the final three batters in a row for a 13-3 Yankee victory.

The Yankees hung on to beat the Mets 5-4 in a tight game at Wrights Field, coming from behind to extend their winning streak to five straight. The Yanks fell behind 3-0 after two innings, and were unable to cash in hits by Kevin Otton and Tyler Lorberbaum in the early going. In the top of the 3rd the Yankees finally broke through with two runs. Andrew Oskowsky drew a one out walk and Dan Villela singled to start the rally. Morgan McCarthy followed with a long RBI double off the left field fence to score Oskowsky, and Matt Scocozza's RBI grounder scored Villela to cut the Mets lead to 3-2. Joe Billi started the inning by reaching on an error, and stole second to get into scoring position. Ben Herschalg also reached on an error to put two runners on, and Otton singled to score Billi and make it 4-3 Mets. Villela's grounder to short lead to a throwing error that brought in Oskowsky and Otton and put the Yankees ahead 5-4. Yankees starter Andrew Oskowsky pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the 4th with help from 1B Matt Scocozza, who recorded three unassisted putouts in the inning to tie the all-time record of three in an inning. In the top of the 5th, Justin Iovino lined a one out triple down the right field line, but was left at third as the inning ended. Oskowsky hit the 85 pitch limit with one out in the 5th, and departed after throwing 4 1/3 innings, allowing no earned runs while striking out five. Otton was called in to face his toughest closing assignment of the season, and stranded three Mets baserunners on an inning ending strikeout. In the top of the 6th, The Yanks threatened but did not score after Otton walked and Oskowsky singled, and the game went to the bottom of the 6th with the Yankees clinging to a 5-4 lead. Otton faced the top of the Mets order, and got two quick outs due to some great outfield defense. LF James Fulton hauled in a long drive to left, and RF Joe Billi came in on a short fly to right center to make a running catch for the second out. The Mets rallied on a walk and an infield single, putting the winning runs on base with two outs. But Otton once again got out of the jam, ending the game with a strikeout to give the Yankees the 5-4 win.

Scocozza followed with an RBI grounder, reaching first on a fielder's choice that scored Villela. James Fulton then hit a double to right center to put runners on 2nd and 3rd. With two outs, Lorberbaum singled over the first base bag, picking up two RBIs as Scocozza and Fulton scored. Dan Toback followed with a line drive single to right, and scored along with Lorberbaum on an error to give the Yankees a 9-0 lead. Yankees starter Andrew Oskowsky kept the Yankees in check in the early innings, allowing only one run over the first three innings. The Yankees went up 10-1 in the 4th when Villela lead off with a triple and scored on McCarthy's RBI ground out. Scocozza followed with his second hit of the game, but was left stranded. In a wild bottom of the 4th, the Mets rallied for six runs as Oskowsky reached the 85 pitch limit and was replaced by Scocozza. A grand slam by the Mets Chris Vandewater cut the Yankee lead to 10-7, but Scocozza got out of the inning with back to back strikeouts of the Mets #4 and #5 hitters. He then pitched a scoreless 5th, and turned the ball over to closer Otton to hold the three run lead. The Mets put runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out, but with the tying run at the plate Otton came through with back to back 'K' s to give the Yankees the victory and a 1-0 Series lead.

Yankees sweep Oceanside American Majors World Series with comeback win over the Mets

In front of a packed house at Wrights Field, the Yankees rallied in the bottom of the 5th, coming from behind to defeat the Mets 7-6 to sweep the 2009 Oceanside American Majors World Series. The Champion Yankees capped an outstanding season with a total team effort in World Series Game Two to take the title. The Mets took an early 1-0 lead in this game, but the Yankees quickly struck back for three runs in the bottom of the 1st. Kevin Otton and Andrew Oskowsky started the inning with back to back singles, and Dan Villela followed with his third home run of the season, a three run drive over the left center field fence to put the Yanks up 3-1. The Mets pushed across a run in the top of the 2nd, and with two out Yankees starting pitcher Villela was replaced by Matt Scocozza, making his second relief appearance of the series. Scocozza quickly ended the inning, getting a grounder to Oskowsky at first for the third out. The Yankees added a run in the 2nd, when Joe Billi's hustle allowed him to reach on an error. Billi came around to score on Oskowsky's RBI single for a 4-2 Yankee lead. A walk by Villela and a single by Morgan McCarthy loaded the bases, but the Yankees left three men on as the inning ended. In the 3rd, Scocozza pitched a scoreless inning with two strike outs, and the Yankees tacked on a run in the bottom of the frame when James Fulton tripled down the right field line and later scored on a Dan Toback RBI single. Facing a 5-2 deficit, the Mets rallied for four runs, with the big hit a two run single by Stephen Massimillo. With the Yankees now trailing 6-5, Scocozza prevented further damage with back to back strikeouts, including his second 'K' of the game of the Majors Home Run leader. The Yankees still trailed 6-5 going into the bottom of the 5th when they put together their championship winning rally. RF Justin Iovino started the inning with a single to right, but was forced out at 2nd when Luke Evans hit into a fielder's choice. With two outs, Otton singled to move Evans to second base, and Andrew Oskowsky picked up his third hit of the game, a clutch RBI single to score Evans and tie the score at 6. With the go ahead runs on base, Villela came through again with a big RBI single to center, scoring Otton to give the Yankees a 7-6 lead. Matt Scocozza, the eventual winning pitcher, was replaced in the top of the sixth after throwing 3 1/3 innings of strong relief, striking out six. Yankee closer Kevin Otton was called in for the save opportunity, facing the top of the Mets batting order. Fireballer Otton picked up two quick outs with back to back strikeouts, but the Mets managed to get the tying run on base with two outs. Otton, facing the Mets clean-up hitter, got a ground ball to second that was fielded by Ben Herschlag, who smartly raced to the second base bag for the final out. Yankee CF Tyler Lorberbaum led the charge to the mound, where the Majors World Series Champion Yankees celebrated their victory.
