played at 10:30am on Sundays.
The season ends on the weekend before Thanksgiving.
How are the
teams divided?

is for boys 7 and 8 yrs.old (4 teams). The "JUNIOR" Division is
for boys 9 and 10 yrs.old (6 teams). The "SENIOR" Division is for
boys 11 and 12 yrs. old (4 teams). Teams are drafted prior to the
first practice and usually have about 17-22 players each.
Are there
any weight restrictions?

In the PEE WEE division, players over 70 lbs.
can only play line positions.
Juniors -
Maximum Weight = 125 lbs.
In the JUNIOR division, players over 85 lbs.

There is an official weigh in when equipment is issued at the start
of the season.
Is it full
contact and is it safe?
Yes, it is full contact, but there are many, many
rules in ALL divisions for safety reasons. There are NO punt or
kickoff returns. The Stallions provide top line football equipment
for maximum protection and the players are all taught how to play
safely.
Can my son
play on a specific team?
There are NO guarantees that players will be together
AT ANY LEVEL. All requests will be noted on the draft lists,
but in an effort to balance both talent and weight, they may not
be met. Brothers will be kept together if requested.
Will there
be facilities at the games?
Yes, we request that the restrooms are open on Sundays.
We also run the concession stand, with the usual assortment of refreshments
and tasty morsels! Also available will be Stallions shirts, hats,
jackets etc!!!!!
Do I
need to provide any equipment?
All you need to bring are: cleets (non metal), supporter/cup
(To ALL practices and games!), mouthpiece (available for
$1 at the weigh in). ALL players are RESPONSIBLE for their equipment
throughout the season. Failure to return equipment on the specified
equipment return nights will result in a $250 charge. PLEASE take
care of and return your equipment!
Will my son
play even if he's just a beginner?
YES! The Stallions pride themselves in giving EVERY
boy the opportunity to play in EVERY game. We are not about winning.
We are about giving every boy who shows up and works at it,
the opportunity to play! Some positions require certain special
skills and play knowledge. Weight restrictions will come into play
as well when positions are assigned.
Does football
conflict with soccer or baseball?
Yes. Fall baseball/soccer is on Saturday and Sundays
- SO IS FOOTBALL! There will inevitably be conflicts
when boys try to play football and another sport. The players will
learn how to play football on Saturdays, progressing
from week to week and it is important to DO YOUR BEST to try and
make every practice.
Missing practices or games can affect playing time.
Can my son
play Middle School football as well?
Yes, but understand that it is a major commitment
to do so. The Middle School usually practices 4-5 nights a week
and plays a game per week. Along with the Stallion's weekends, be
prepared for football, 7 days a week for 3 months!
PLEASE NOTE: NO REFUNDS
ONCE EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN ISSUED!
Game recaps are posted each week under each team's home page. If
you notice that game recaps are NOT being submitted, please contact
your head coach and volunteer to help! Recaps are usually posted
within a couple days. They should not be too looooooooooooooooong
and they should, throughout the season, mention EVERY player on
the team!
NOTE: They are edited and censored! Words like destroyed or killed
should be avoided!!!
SCHOOL WORK, FIRST
- FOOTBALL, SECOND - EVERYTHING ELSE, A DISTANT THIRD!!!!!
